City of Grace Mesa

Last night was our first combined campus event for our "Radial" youth ministries and it rocked my socks off! (That expression alone proves that I was too old to be there!) In the words of this generation, it was "sick!" which literally means, (for all of my readers over 30) it was great!

I was there just to greet the students and open with prayer, but the environment was so compelling that I hung out at the rear of the auditorium with George Chadwick (Scottsdale, Worship Pastor who was also too old to be there!) and his wife, Kris, and I got my dance on!

Thanks to City of Grace Youth Pastors Jason and Erica Parrish (Scottsdale Campus) and Adam and Gretchen Smith (Mesa Campus) for making it a great night of passionate praise, crazy games, heartfelt preaching, and tons of affection for the students.

Also, much love to my middle son, Josh, who is becoming the master of creating relevant environments.

And don't tell anyone, but Judith and I will be there, somewhere out in the mosh pit, dancing our hearts out to the glory of the King!
