City of Grace Mesa

WHAT? A team of no more than 10 will visit the Brazos de Amor orphanage in Agua Prieta Mexico, just over the border from Douglas, Arizona. We will spend time with the kids at the orphanage, playing games and doing crafts, as well as serving the staff by taking over duties of cooking, cleaning and helping in other ways. On Sunday, we will attend church in Agua Prieta before returning to Mesa.

WHEN? May 2–4, 2008; a Friday afternoon (4:30 pm) through Sunday night (about 7 pm).

WHY? To bless the kids and permanent workers at the Brazos de Amor Orphanage in Agua Prieta, Mexico. City of Grace’s Mesa campus has had an ongoing relationship with the orphanage, sending many teams on similar weekend trips.

WHO? Radial - Mesa students and leaders. 10 people maximum, and you must be at least 15 years old. Spanish language skills are NOT required.

HOW MUCH? $100

• The cost includes all meals, accommodations in a motel in Agua Prieta, transportation and medical insurance while in Mexico.
• $25 non-refundable deposit is required with your application.
• Your full balance is due by April 20.
• To get back into the US, you will need a certified copy of your birth certificate. If you are 18 or older, you will also need your driver’s license.

HOW WILL WE PREPARE? We will have two training meetings; one on Sunday April 20 at noon, and the other during the week of April 28 at a date to be determined.

HOW DO I SIGN UP? Return the attached application with your $25 non-refundable deposit by March 30.
