We currently need volunteers in 3 main areas. All three of these opportunities require a committment for some period of time:

Construction Trip to the Hopi Nation - Flagstaff
Dates: July 11-13
Where: Youth With A Mission Ministry Center near Flagstaff
Cost: $100 per person which includes transportation, food and housing for the weekend. The cost is tax-deductible

For the past nine years City of Grace has offered after school tutoring to students at Eisenhower Elementary which is just a mile away! This year there were over twenty students who came every Monday night for an hour and a half to receive help in math, reading, telling time and writing. Each student was matched up to a tutor. All tutors are City of Grace members who have a desire to be a positive influence in a child's life.

Spring is here and that means community outreach is gearing up for homeless summer ministry. In may most of our other programs take a summer break. We are hoping to add a new childrens summer ministry opportunity this summer working in the near by elementary school with children who are part of the summer lunch program. If everything goes as we hope we will be doing a weekly program with the kids through out the summer.
