It is interesting to note that in his final moments with them, Jesus tells his disciples that they would, “be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8b, TNIV). In other words, the plan for the expansion of God’s global kingdom would begin in Jerusalem, the backyard of the disciples!
Community Outreach at City of Grace is committed to offering opportunities to serve and share the love of Christ in the neighborhoods and city where God has planted us. This is our chance to partner in his kingdom building work in our own backyard, across the street, and wherever else he leads. Join the transformation.
I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.
