Seniors Ministry

The Senior's Ministry exists to connect adults (50+) at City of Grace into relationships with opportunities to "Share Life, Grow in Faith and Reach Out to others."

 

New Seniors Breakfast

Volunteers Serving Seniors

Some are lonely and need a kind word. Others can no longer drive but wish to stay as independent as possible in their own home . And then there are those who are in nursing homes or terminally ill within their own home.

There are several opportunities for you to help assist the seniors in our community.If you have 2-3 hours a month to help with medical transport, grocery shopping, visual assistance, telephone assurance, friendly visitations at a local nursing home or as a hospice volunteer (terminally ill).

Other opportunities at a retirement center (not a nursing facility) are available such as: educational talks, cooking class, bridge/cards/games players, men's sports night, or running a country store.
