Mental Disabilities
The Friendship Class meets in the worship center, Building 5, Sundays at 10:00am. We meet on the west side front section at the back of the front section (near the sound board)
Following Praise and Worship, we leave to go to our classroom in Building 4, Room 422A. In the classroom we have a Bible lesson (typically geared to a cognitive level of age 5 and up), work on a memory verse, share prayer requests and praises and have snacks. It is a fun environment where the students are encouraged to learn and follow God’s ways. The students also receive love, encouragement and acceptance through our volunteer partnership program. The students receive phone calls from their personal volunteer to pray with and for them, to talk about the lessons and to develop a Christ-centered friendship.
