For the past nine years City of Grace has offered after school tutoring to students at Eisenhower Elementary which is just a mile away! This year there were over twenty students who came every Monday night for an hour and a half to receive help in math, reading, telling time and writing. Each student was matched up to a tutor. All tutors are City of Grace members who have a desire to be a positive influence in a child's life.

The students and tutors have worked hard all year and we wanted to end the year with some fun. We took the students to Schnepf Farms for a fun filled morning. We went on a tour of the farm, fed some deer, petted farm animals, went on a carousel ride and finished off with a train ride. The kids had a lot of fun and so did the tutors! Everyone is taking a break for the summer now. We will start this ministry up again in early September and new tutors are always welcome.
