Summer outreach opportunities

Spring is here and that means  community outreach is gearing up for homeless summer ministry. In may most of our other programs take a summer break. We are hoping to add a new childrens summer ministry opportunity this summer working in the near by elementary school with children who are part of the summer lunch program. If everything goes as we hope we will be doing a weekly program with the kids through out the summer.

Beat the Heat is gearing up and we are looking for men to committ to serve one day a week over the summer. We are going to try and do the heat shelter again if we can get enough men to volunteer. So if you have a day a week during the month of July and August, community outreach could really use you. So give me a call with any questions you have about either of these summer miistries.
