What a blessing it is to be part of Gods work as He touches the children of Mexico. City of Grace sent a team to the Brazos de Amor orphanage in Agua Prieta, Mexico in February to spend time minsitering to the children there and to be a blessing to the staff at the orphanage. Brazos de Amor has about 40 children that live there. These children have experienced anything from a death of a parent, to parents with addiction issues, to parents who simply can not afford to take care of their children. Our teams travel there every six weeks to spend the weekend giving these children a lot of love and badly needed attention. We spend time doing craft work, giving music lessons, playing sports, and generally just spending quality time with these precious children. In addition to a lot of play time, we focus on relieving the small staff there for the day by doing all the cooking and cleaning for the orphanage while we are there. Then we attend a the orphanages parent church in town with the children on Sunday morning before heading back to Mesa. It was an action packed and exhausting weekend. But what a blessing! Sometimes I don't know who gets blessed more. Us or the kids!!!
