Our Pastors
Pastors Terry and Judith Crist are not your typical ministers. Whether mountain climbing in the Alps, exploring the African bush, or playing basketball with their sons, they believe in living life to the fullest.
As a fifth generation pastor, Terry has a lifetime of experience in helping hurting people. In addition to founding and pastoring four churches, he has traveled extensively into over sixty nations speaking in local churches, leadership conferences, and on university campuses.
Pastor Terry has a Doctorate in Ministry with an emphasis on crosscultural communication. As a guest speaker at a number of world-renowned universities, he has influenced a generation of young emerging leaders.
The driving force in Terry's life is his passion to build a "crosscurrent" church, which he defines as, "a church that is Biblically literate, Spiritually sensitive and culturally relevant." He is the author of several books and frequently appears on national radio and television programs.
Judith Crist attended Ayers Music Conservatory, Dallas, TX and majored in music ministry at Jackson College of Ministries, Jackson, MS.
Judith serves as one of the Executive Pastors at City of Grace leading our video venues on both campuses and championing our leaders to greater excellence. Her passion is to see people living the abundant life Jesus died to give us.
Terry and Judith have been married twenty-five years and have three sons: Terry (III), a first year Law student at Arizona State University, Joshua, an audio/video tech and worship band member, and Tyler, a varsity basketball player at Desert Mountain High School.
